Maybe a bit of an upset today but full marks to the Saskatoon Blades bid presentation for closing the deal with the WHL's Board of Governors today. Red Deer was looked at as the front-runner going in but the Blades and Saskatoon's history of hosting major events won over.
Saskatoon will do a great job as hosts....looking forward to attending in late May 2013.
