Blazers Look for Home-and-Home Sweep

The Blazers played a solid 60 minute game last night in Vancouver. Nothing flashy, very workmanlike. Defensively sound, and disciplined in a 4-1 win in front of a large crowd just 9400 at Pacific Coliseum. It evens the season series with the Giants at two wins apiece.

The trick though is to follow it up tonight and sweep the home-and-home set. The Giants didn't play there best game and also are lacking some key pieces in their line-up. I'm expecting them to be better tonight.

The Blazers will welcome back both F Jordan DePape and D Brandon Underwood into the line-up. Both have served their suspensions.

Thomas Frazee makes his home ice debut. He's scored twice and added two assists in his first three games in a Blazer uniform.

More later tonight....
