Blazers Host Rockets

- The Blazers kick-off November by hosting the Kelowna Rockets tonight at ISC. It's the 2nd meeting of the season, the Blazers won in Kelowna 5-4 three weeks ago. They have won four of their last five games heading into tonight.

The Blazers will have a relatively light month of November. They will play 11 games compared to the 14 they played in October. This is the last home game for 10 days. The Blazers hit the road for Calgary and Lethbridge Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Rockets snapped a three-game skid with a 6-2 win over Prince George last night in Kelowna. The six goals is the most the Rockets have scored in a game this season.

- Brendan Ranford is the Radio NL Player of the Month for Sept/Oct. His 11 goals and eight assists to go along with an 11 game point streak clinched the award.

- Rockets F Brett Bulmer sat out last night's game against Prince George because of illness. Meanwhile F Geordie Wudrick scored his 2nd goal of the season last night in the win. Wudrick has two goals and two assists through the first 14 games of the season. Wudrick has 97 career goals. He scored 35 in the 08/09 season.

- Linden Saip's departure from the Blazers this week gives them six healthy defensemen. D Josh Caron remains out with a broken collarbone. His projected return is set for two weeks when the Blazers play road games in Everett and Portland.

- Game-time at 7pm, we are on the air with the pre-game show at 6:30pm

I'm amazed there is no mention of the fact that this is Regan Bartel's first visit of 2010 to ISC. That makes me go hmmmmm.
