Busy 4th Round / Broncos Take Local Zac Mackay

With the 70th pick overall (via Seattle) the Broncos select C Josh Sinatynski from Fort Saskatchewan "AAA"bantam. He's the younger brother of Brandon Wheat Kings F Jesse Sinatynski

With the 71st pick overall the Broncos (via Regina) C Zac Mackay from the Swift Current "AA" Kabos Raiders.

The Broncos got a shot at a good local player and jumped at the chance. Mackay captained the bantam "AA" Raiders. He got a glowing review from Coach Kent Woods a few posts below.

I'm assuming the Broncos didn't think Mackay would be there this late in the draft.

-------

The Kootenay Ice select Shaunavon's Spencer Wand with the 75th overall pick. Wand is another member of the "AA" bantam Raiders.

-------

The Broncos select with the 77th overall pick (via Red Deer), the Broncos select G Landon Bow from St. Albert, AB.

The Broncos take their first goaltender of the draft.

-------

The Broncos select 81st overall (via Kootenay) D Bobby Zinken from the Calgary "AAA" North Stars

------

The Tri-City Americans take local D Josh Wik 85th overall from the bantam "AA" Raiders.

-------

This concludes a busy 4th round with four Bronco picks and four local bantam "AA" Raiders selected.
