More Accolades For Richardson

Swift Current Broncos 1st round pick Evan Richardson is the January co-player of the month in the BC Major Midget League.

Richardson was selected 15th over-all by the Broncos at last year's bantam draft.

He is currently leading the league in scoring as a 15 year old. It is the second time he has won this award becoming the 1st player to win it twice in 1 year.

I hope he comes here next year. He is easily a top six forward for us next year. That is saying a lot considering the talented forwards we have coming back, and the fact he is only 15 this year.

I am sorry, but the Broncos have to do everything in there power to get this guy signed.

That still may be an understatement

Jon, you should call Evan and talk to him and his parents about him coming to play in Speedy Creek. This young man could be a franchise player for us and could help us go deep into playoffs with a talented bunch of guys. Use whatever pull you have! We don't want to lose him to the NCAA.

We lost Riley Nash to the College Route didn't we? Imagine what he would been in our lineup...oh the possibilities. We have so many solid young guys...Richards (15), Howorko (15), Olsen (?), Newton (16), Not sure on any dmen on your list.

Maybe Nash will shock the world and join us as a twenty year-old next year?

Nash is 20 this year. 1989 birth year.

With the permission of the team I've spoken to him a couple times. They've introduced to his dad. Bottom line, I'm just the radio guy. I don't have a lot of say in the matter.
