Hitmen 2 Broncos 1

Imagine a game where the Broncos get a sensational goaltending performance, keep the league's best powerplay in check and keep all of Calgary's big guns off the scoresheet.

You would expect to win that game right?

Calgary skated a 2-1 win to hand the Broncos their sixth consecutive home-ice loss. It was a game kept close thanks to the heroics of G Morgan Clark in the Bronco crease who made 34 saves - some of the spectacular variety.

The Hitmen had seven opportunities on the powerplay to the Broncos single chance. Normally this would be somewhat eyebrow raising but in this case powerplay chances really reflected the game.

Derek Claffey scored the only Broncos goal - it opened the scoring.

The Broncos play in Prince Albert tomorrow night to begin the biggest weekend of the season.

Hey Jon,

Just curious, when the Broncos go to Prince Albert, where do they eat their pre-game meal?

Do they take Circle Drive once in Saskatoon or go downtown and then go north on Idywyld?

Really, you need a hobby. Hey Jon, what kind of TP do the Broncos use?

This getting out of hand...

I think Tyler is a stocker, you and the Broncos might need a restraining order.

the pa trip usually equals a stop at the hi-way host in rosetown for chicken strips and more, a good stop if you ever drive through great whl and rider supporters

jon have been listening to other pbp of late and the bronco fans are very lucky to have you call games

Tyler is harmless, in fact I think there a few people imitating him now...there's about four Tyler's floating around.

Hey Jon,

Just curious, who do you think the four other Tylers are?

Will the real Tyler please stand up?

Jon, what do you think the Pats chances are of making the playoffs?
If you take the Broncos out of the picture of course.

The Pats chances? Doubtful to slim at best. It's a long road back from seven points back.

Moose Jaw is the only team I see with a reasonable chance to catch. They've struggled somewhat and still have a ton of road games including their U.S. trip.

Careful what you say about the Pats Jon. Curtis Hunt may print it off and pin it on the bulletin board.

This is yet another Tyler but I sure as heck could care less where Broncos eat pre-game me when they go to Prince Albert. Perhaps I just post stuff using anonymous.
